Course Aims:
  • This course focuses on the intelligence cycle, the importance of knowing and understanding the client, the collection of information, the various sources of information to be considered, the handling of human sources as well as the processing of raw information obtained. It stimulates the analytical thinking of the operator. It helps the operator to become more “streetwise” and to become more innovative in his/her approach towards addressing the important intelligence requirements of the organisation.
  • Information obtained through human sources accounts for +-8% of the intelligence picture and is intelligence which is either not freely available or can other wise not be obtained by public/open sources of information such as books, magazines, internet/Google etc.
